A cool Illusion of our Mind !

If your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot, you will only see one color, pink. If you stare at the black + in the center, the moving dot turns to green. Now, concentrate on the black + in the center of the picture. After a short period of time, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see a green dot rotating if you’re lucky! It’s amazing how our brain works. There really is no green dot, and the pink ones really don’t disappear. This should be proof  enough,we don’t always see what we think we see.

hey man i saw 2 new things in this illusion.if i copy the image and see it without the moving green ball.at this time also the same things happen.all pink balls vanish.and if i concentrate on a single pink ball then all others disappear and the one wil remain appeared including the black cross in the middle…

    Srajan :

The reason behind this is to tell that how our mind works and sometime what you see from your naked eyes is also not true

Its just like making fool for less than 1 second. Because its just changing color of previous dot to green and when it jumps to next it is again set to Pink. It nothing amazing.

  46. May 12th, 2006 at 14:45 | #46

we see what we see – no illusion in that. real life isn’t a rotating pink dot. that should be enough to realize this is nothing more than ones illusive thoughts.

    Hi
Would you allow me to use this in a workshop to show how we don’t see what we think we see… if so, could you let me know how I could view the graphic in a non-internet file (where I deliver the workshop won’t have internet)
    Many thanks,
    Sue
